We work where the regulator works. Our lawyers deal with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority as a matter of routine, in Turkish, and understand how it actually operates rather than only what the statute says. When correspondence arrives, it reaches people who can read it, judge it, and act on it the same day.
Counsel, not a mailbox
A platform can receive a letter and pass it to you. It cannot tell you what the letter means for your exposure, how to respond, or what to concede and what to contest. Because we are a law firm, the moment a data subject complains, a breach must be reported, or the Authority opens a file, you are already with lawyers who can advise and, if it comes to it, defend you — protected by attorney-client privilege, under one roof, with no hand-off to a third party.
The test to apply: ask whether your representative can do more than confirm receipt. If the honest answer is "they would refer it out," you have a forwarding address, not a representative.
